The $40,000 Giveback
As we announced in February 2008's Monthly meeting and this months edition of the CHIP, the Chapter Board voted (and the membership in February's meeting authorized) to release $40k towards membership education.
Voting ended on April 15th. The results of the valid votes are below:
Based upon these results, the Board took the following actions:
CISA: The CISA revision course this Summer has been reduced from $285 for members to FREE for ISACA-SV members. This affects approx 50 Chapter members.
CISSP: We contacted the local ISSA Chapter. If you can secure a seat on their upcoming revision course then just submit your receipt to treasurer@isaca-sv.org and we will re-imburse you.
CISM: The upcoming CISM revision course has been reduced from $285 for members to FREE for ISACA-SV members. Register early.
COBIT: Those of you who recently attended the recent CobiT (23rd April) session, and are Chapter members, may request re-imbursement by emailing treasurer@isaca-sv.org. For those of you who were unable to attend, we willput on another session soon, which will be FREE to Chapter members.
At this time we do not yet have the costs for each of the events. These will be posted as they become available, and after refunds have been requested and processed.
