At the end of the year, Academic Advocates are requested to report on their progress via a questionnaire.
Academic Advocate Program Information Members of ISACA who are executives and senior managers in the IT field have developed an exciting program to reach students with the message of rewarding careers in the IS audit and control profession. One full-time faculty member per functional discipline, such as MIS or accounting, at universities offering one or more courses in IT governance, audit accounting information systems or security is invited to become an Academic Advocate to ISACA.
IT Governance Using COBIT® and Val IT™ IT Governance Using COBIT and Val IT is a set of educational materials that professors and teachers can use to explain and present COBIT in their curricula and courses of information systems management, information security management, information systems auditing and/or accounting information systems. This educational package was constructed using the advice and counsel of a global group of academics and practitioners. The purpose was to create a more focused approach for teaching and presenting COBIT in the classroom.
ISACA Supports Academic Research Academic research is the foundation of many of the breakthroughs and new theories supporting the IT assurance, information security and IT governance professional space.
